Trinity Center of El Paso Helps to Improve Member Health

This month, Superior awarded a $5,000 grant to Trinity Center of El Paso, which will help fund a wellness gym for the center’s clients.

Trinity Center, is part of Homeward Bound, Inc., a Texas nonprofit that provides treatment for mental health, drug and alcohol abuse. Homeward Bound’s mission is to save families and change lives through programs and professional services that promote positive behavioral health and independence for individuals and families caught in the cycles of substance abuse, addiction and mental illness.

“Exercise creates a powerful and positive impact in people’s lives, including living drug-free,” said Doug Denton, Executive Director of Homeward Bound. “The Superior HealthPlan Wellness Gym will help Trinity Center of El Paso clients improve their health and quality of life. We are pleased to be named recipient of a Superior grant.”

Superior provider grants are focused on promoting the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Trinity patients will now be able to use new fitness equipment to start exercise programs that will help build strength, overall wellness and a new life in recovery.

Superior is proud to recognize Trinity Center for its continued efforts in the El Paso community.
