Superior HealthPlan's Opioid Provider Toolkit

Every day, Texans are impacted by the effects of the nation's growing opioid epidemic. Community-based providers play a pivotal role in stemming the record number of overdose deaths and getting treatment for our members, our families and our friends.

Superior HealthPlan, in partnership with physicians, nurses and therapists, developed an Opioid Toolkit to share best practice intervention strategies and treatments for patients struggling with addiction. This toolkit is designed to assist providers, as well as their staff and administrators, to effectively treat patients with an opioid addiction.

This free resource includes, but is not limited to summary guidelines, prescribing agreements, assessment and tapering tools.
