10-Day Limit on Opioid Prescriptions

Starting May 1, 2025, some opioid prescriptions will be limited to a 10-day supply. This is based on an update from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

If you are currently taking opioids, talk to your provider about how to manage your care with this upcoming change.
