New Portal to Confirm Provider Directory Information

Superior works with LexisNexis Risk Solutions and the American Medical Association (AMA) Business Solutions to outreach to in-network providers and confirm specific information for Superior’s provider directory. To help obtain and ensure accuracy of this information, the Verify Health Care Portal (VerifyHCP) has been developed and can now be accessed.

VerifyHCP is a quick and easy clinician directory verification portal created by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, in collaboration with the American Medical Association (AMA) Business Solutions*. To make attestation more efficient for clinicians, VerifyHCP enables practices to validate or update pre-populated directory information in one place across all participating health plans.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Up-to-date practice information provides patients with current directory information so they can evaluate our networks, select in-network providers and ultimately access care. The goal of VerifyHCP is to make this process as easy as possible for clinicians and their practices and to receive a 100% response rate to outreach requests. Updates to practice information will be made based on what is entered into VerifyHCP.

Beginning June 3, 2019, VerifyHCP began outreach to confirm and update directory information. Several outreach methods are being used including email, fax and phone, with email being the primary method. Clinicians and practices are being directed to register and log into VerifyHCP to confirm that their directory information on file is accurate. VerifyHCP is a secure, free website for clinicians and their staff to use to confirm directory information, as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and various state laws.
