Do You Qualify for Earned Income Tax Credit? Find Out Now.

Date: 03/04/21

For 45 years, Earned Income Tax Credit has provided financial assistance to working families and has made life better for millions of workers. You may have extra money waiting for you. If you qualify and claim the credit, you could receive as much as $6,660 from the IRS. This is additional money that can be used for groceries, rent, utilities and other bills.

However, many millions are missing out. The IRS said 20% of qualifying Americans do not claim the credit on their federal tax return. Do not be one of them. EITC eligibility depends on several factors including income and family size.

For the tax year 2020 (which you file in 2021), you may qualify for EITC. It is easy to find out. Use the EITC Assistant to answer questions to see if you qualify and estimate how much your credit is.
