Congratulations to the Seton Hays Foundation!

Date: 01/19/16

The Seton Hays Foundation provides financial support and advocacy for the Seton family of centers and hospitals in Kyle, Luling, Smithville and south Travis County. The Seton Hays Foundation’s Board of Trustees is made up of local community members who volunteer their time, offer their talent and support the non-profit’s philanthropic efforts to raise funds to further the foundation’s mission: to provide compassionate care for all and improve the health and well-being of those they serve, regardless of their ability to pay.

Recently, the Seton Hays Foundation was awarded a Superior provider grant that will be used to help fund its Children’s Care-a-Van program. The Children’s Care-A-Van program provides medical care to underserved children in rural Central Texas (Caldwell, Bastrop, Hays and Gonzales Counties), which includes ensuring access to care, bridging gaps in care and connecting those eligible with funding through other resources. Care-A-Van strives to meet the needs of the “whole” patient, including mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. Superior’s grant will help the program continue to meet patient needs, to include: mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health.

“We are very grateful that Seton’s Care-A-Van program has been selected to receive a Superior grant,” said Linda Lotz, executive director of Seton Hays Foundation.

“Superior is committed to partnerships that also further our purpose – to transform the health of the community one individual at a time,” said Lisa Prien, Provider Relations Manager, Superior HealthPlan.

Superior is proud to recognize the Seton Hays Foundation for its commitment to providing quality of care and service to our members.
