Superior HealthPlan is committed to providing our members with the resources you need to ensure the best possible care. Our commitment goes beyond medical care. We help make sure you have access to food, housing, transportation, and health education resources as well.
Superior Support
- We want to make sure you can easily find services and resources in your area. View the STAR Health Resource Guide for your area to find health and social services near you.
- We offer hygiene closets for members and non-members across the state. You can get basic personal care items like shampoo, soap, feminine products, and other necessities at no cost. Learn more about our hygiene closets.
- Our helpful links webpage has information about foster care family support, general health and wellness and important government contacts.
- Get help with a ride from Superior’s Medical Ride Program. Transportation services for members who have no other transportation options are provided by SafeRide Health to non-emergency health-care appointments. Read about our medical ride program.

- 2-1-1 can help you find resources for food, health, housing and more. It is a free, confidential, 24/7 helpline. 2-1-1 connects you to local resources for basic needs including food pantries, emergency housing, utility bill-pay help, childcare, and disaster relief resources. - Feeding Texas connects members to food banks across the state. A food bank can help you locate healthy, free meals, apply for benefits programs like SNAP, and find resources for health screenings, nutrition education and more. Learn more about Feeding Texas.
