Collaborative Care Model in Texas Medicaid Computer-Based Training

Texas Medicaid implemented a medical benefit for the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) on June 1, 2022, as directed by Senate Bill 672, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021. To ensure adherence to the core principles and the specific functional requirements of the model, Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has developed an online training for providers of CoCM services that will be accessible via the Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) website.
On January 4, 2023, the following training will be available to providers of CoCM services through the TMHP Learning Management System (LMS) website:
- Integrating Behavioral Health Services into Primary Care: Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in Texas Medicaid Computer-Based Training (CBT)
- This training includes six modules that may be completed by providers in any order.
- To access the training, users must log in using their username and password on the TMHP LMS website.
- To get a username and password, providers must create an account by clicking visiting the TMHP New User Registration form.
