Effective September 1, 2022: Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women Carve-In

House Bill 133, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, requires the Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women (CPW) Program be carved-in to Medicaid managed care. Effective on September 1, 2022, Medicaid MCOs will be responsible for managing the delivery of these services to eligible members.

In support of this, Superior HealthPlan is actively recruiting qualified providers into Superior’s Medicaid (STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids, STAR+PLUS) and STAR+PLUS Medicare Medicaid Plan (MMP) provider network to deliver CPW services.

Please Note: CPW providers must complete the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Medicaid provider enrollment process prior to joining Superior's network.
