2023-2024 Value-added Services Update

Superior HealthPlan is here to help you get well and stay well. Our commitment to your well-being extends far beyond the doctor’s office and into your everyday life. We are proud to offer extra services to keep our members healthy. As a member, you are able to get extra benefits and services in addition to your regular benefits. These are called Value-added Services (VAS).*

VAS are updated annually and are effective September 1 – August 31 each year. Members can find the most up-to-date list of Value-added Services online at SuperiorHealthPlan.com/VAS. A complete VAS listing may also be found in Superior member handbooks.

Changes to the VAS for the effective dates listed above include the removal of:

CHIP

• Healthy Play and Exercise Programs:
  • YMCA Healthy Weight and Your Child
• Smoking Cessation Puff-Free Pregnancy Program benefit:
  • Smoking cessation support kit upon joining

STAR

• Healthy Play and Exercise Programs:
  • YMCA Healthy Weight and Your Child
• Smoking Cessation Puff-Free Pregnancy Program benefit:
  • Smoking cessation support kit upon joining

STAR+PLUS

• Extra help getting a ride:
  • Transportation for members accessing their vision VAS visits
• Remote Medication Monitoring Services
• Trualta program

STAR+PLUS Nursing Facility

• Extra help getting a ride:
  • Transportation for members accessing their vision VAS visits
• Trualta program
