Dental Care
It is very important to get the dental services your child needs on a regular basis. By getting your child to see the dentist early, a problem can be found and taken care of right away! Dental checkups need to start at age six months of age and occur every six months thereafter through the age of 21. Delta Dental can help you choose a dentist that is right for your child. If your child needs dental care, you can contact Delta Dental any time. They have answers to your questions about dental care. Contact Delta Dental at (866) 287-3419!

* IMPORTANT DENTAL INFORMATION!
Beginning June 1, 2010, Superior’s STAR Health (Foster Care) Program dental provider changed to Delta Dental. This means that StarDent is no longer the dental vendor for STAR Health. Delta can help you with all your child’s dental needs such as:
- Checking to see if you/your child is due for a dental checkup
- Finding a dentist in your area
- Scheduling a dental checkup for you/your child if needed
And don’t forget: All new STAR Health Members age 6 months and over must have a dental checkup within 60 days of enrolling into the STAR Health Program. Then you/your child must have a dental checkup every 6 months after that. Delta can help you with that too! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Delta Dental at 1-866-287-3419. New ID cards were mailed out in May with Delta information. Please call Superior HealthPlan at 1-866-912-6283 if you did not receive a new ID card. We will be more than happy to send you one!
