Superior HealthPlan Network, part of the Superior HealthPlan family, is a health insurance company dedicated to managing the healthcare needs of foster care children, their families and caregivers participating in the state’s STAR Health program. Superior HealthPlan Network also manages the healthcare needs of children enrolled in the state’s CHIP RSA program (the Children’s Health Insurance Program covering eligible children in 170 rural counties across the state of Texas).

Our sister company, Superior HealthPlan, Inc., is an HMO that was founded in partnership with the Texas Association of Community Health Centers and has been providing services in Texas since 1999.

Our Austin-based affiliate, Integrated Mental Health Services (IMHS), a division of Cenpatico Behavioral Health, manages the behavioral and mental health care needs for foster children enrolled in STAR Health.
